These Betting Rules are our Terms & Conditions, and acceptance of these Betting Rules is a prerequisite to account registration and placing of bets at betting shops.
Definitions
We, Us, Our means Company LTD, address, etc.
Bet means the staking of money on the prediction of the outcome of a sporting event. A bet can include one or more selections. A bet on one selection is a single. A bet on many different selection is a multiple.
A “selection” is predicted outcome of a particular sporting event, e.g. home team to win at full time, total goals to be over 3.
Odds or Price means the return on the money staked should the prediction(s) recorded in a Bet be correct. A winning price of 2 would return double to the stake to the customer. Example: if the customer spends 1000 kwacha at the price of 2, and wins, the customer receives 2000 kwacha. The prices paid are those at the time the bet is placed unless the provisions below apply.
A customer means anyone placing a bet with My Company or using this website.
Void means that for one or more reasons the bet is not acceptable to My Company. In the case of a void the selection is settled at the price of 1. If a selection in a single bet is made void the stake will be returned. Void selections in multiple/accumulator bets will be treated as non-runners and the stake will run onto the remaining selections in the bet.
Accounts
Account facilities are provided to you solely to enable you to place bets. You must not allow your account to be used by another person. If we suspect that you are not a genuine player or have given your account facilities to someone else, we may terminate your account access immediately pending investigation. If we determine that you have given account facilities to another person the account will be closed and the funds within it forfeited. If you, for whatever reason, appear to be depositing or withdrawing money without genuine play, you will be liable to have your account closed and/or investigated.
On occasion we need to confirm a higher level of customer verification, for this we must also confirm customers are the genuine owner of the payment method used to make their deposits. We will, from time to time, request documentation to validate your age, identity and address, such as your passport, driving license or national ID card, as well as sight of utility bills or bank statements.
The Law prohibits under 25 year olds from betting. We may at any time ask you to confirm your age. You indemnify us of any damages if you deceive us or misrepresent your age. Underage clients will have their accounts closed immediately and any balances forfeit.
Individuals suspecting underage gambling are encouraged to report this to us immediately on our customer service number or via email to us.
In the operation of this site, and in running promotions, games, or advertising on different platforms we may collect information about customers, this is subject to our privacy policy.
Accounts that have not had a valid betting transaction for 6 or more months will be deemed dormant. A dormant account charge is required to compensate us for the costs of maintaining an account. Dormant accounts will accrue a dormant account charge of 3,000 kwacha per month from the seventh month onward it remains dormant. Accounts will not accrue a negative balance. Once the balance is zero, the account will be closed.
Account Corrections
My Company has the right to recover from you any amount overpaid and has your authority to adjust your account to reflect the true outcome and rectify the mistake. An example of such a mistake might be where a price is incorrect, a bet is late, or where we enter a result of an event incorrectly.
My Company reserves right to refuse the whole or any part of any bet request for any reason and at our sole discretion. Individual bet requests may be reviewed, and an alternative price or stake offered at our sole discretion.
Cancellations
Bets can be cancelled at our discretion. Customers may cancel bets if the option is displayed.
Late Bets
Bets will be accepted up to the advertised start time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted which includes an event after its start time, unless it is a live-betting event, the match/bet will be treated as a void, unless nothing has happened which would significantly alter the chances of the selection winning or losing. All bets placed after the result of an event is known will be void win or lose.
Withholding and protecting our liability
My Company reserves the right to cancel any bets from customers who place money on an event where they are in any way involved, as participants, referee, coach etc.
My Company reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare bets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred:
- the integrity of the event has been called into question or
- match rigging has taken place. Evidence may be based on the size, volumes or pattern of bets placed with My Company across any or all of our betting channels.
When an event is cancelled, all related bets will be void automatically and accounts refunded.
If any match is abandoned due to injury, bad weather, crowd trouble etc. all bets that have already been settled up until the time of abandonment will stand. For example: If a football match is abandoned in the second half, all bets involving the 1st half will stand.
My Company does not accept any responsibility for typing, human or palpable errors, which lead to obvious price errors. In such cases all bets will be deemed void or paid at the correct price.
Maximum Payout
The maximum total winnings to any customer on any calendar day for bets placed with My Company is ZMW 25,000,000 or equivalent (here after the “Maximum Daily Payout” ), or 1000 times the stake, whichever is lower.
Dead Heat Rules
Dead heats are possible in a number of bets and are where there are two winners declared for a particular bet. Examples of this include the number of goals scored by a particular player during a particular competition: it is possible for two or more players to both get the most number of goals. For betting purposes, this is a dead heat. In these circumstances the following rule applies. If two selections dead-heat for any placing, half the stake is applied to the selection at full betting odds and the other half of the stake is lost. If three selections dead-heat, a third of the stake is paid at full betting odds and two thirds of the stake are lost. For example, if you have 1000 kwacha at a price of 10 on a selection which dead-heats against one other selection, you will be paid 500 x 10 = 5000. If you have 1000 kwacha on a selection which three way dead-heats you will be paid 333 x 10 = 3333.
Errors
My Company make every effort to ensure that we do not make errors in accepting bets. However, if as a result of human error or system problems a bet is accepted at a price (which includes the odds, handicap provisions, and other terms and conditions or details of the bet) that is:
- materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made; or
- clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring at the time the bet was made
To establish the correct price we will consider prices available in the general market at the time the bet was made, including the prices offered by other bookmakers operating in the same market.
Examples of circumstances where this would apply are:
- the price is recorded as 100-1 when the price on offer in the general market is 10-1
- the margins for handicap betting have been reversed
A bet accepted on this service does not constitute a legally binding contract between the customer and us. The prices we offer on all outcomes on display on this website take the form of an advertisement rather than a contractual term. If we offer mistaken prices, then we are entitled to decline any bet placed at those prices at any time. In such instances we will void the bet and return the stake money.
Any results or scores displayed on the site – for example during betting in play – are for guidance purposes only.
Fraud and Collusion
- A number of bets may be treated as being one when a customer places multiple copies of the same bet. When this occurs, all bets may be voided apart from the first bet struck. A number of bets that contain the same single selection may be treated as being one. When this occurs, all bets may be voided apart from the first bet struck. An example would be where 1 particular selection is repeatedly included in Multiple bets involving other short-priced selections.
- Where there is evidence of a series of bets each containing the same (or very similar) selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate or individuals, My Company reserves the right to make bets void and suspend relevant accounts. This rule applies to both settled and unsettled bets.
Complaints
If you wish to make a complaint, as a first step you should as soon as reasonably practicable contact our Customer Services Team at help@example.com. If, having spoken to a member of the team, your complaint is not resolved, you can ask for the matter to be escalated to the Directors. This complaint should be in writing and addressed to us either on email or hard copy. You will be given the name and status of the people to whom your query/complaint has been referred. If you remain dissatisfied we may agree with you to refer the matter to an indpendent third body for arbitration.
If, notwithstanding the above, Court proceedings are issued, My Company reserve the right to apply to stay those proceedings pending determination by an independent body. If the customer fails or refuses to follow the ruling of the an agreed independent body, the customer will reimburse all resulting expenses (including court fees) incurred by My Company. If a customer issues legal proceedings their account with us will be closed pending resolution.
All disputes are governed by the law and courts of the Republic of Zambia.
Settling and Payment of Bets
Normal Playing Time
All match markets are based on the result at the end of Normal Playing Time which is normally two halves of 45 minutes each. This is the scheduled duration of the match including any added injury or stoppage time; but it does not include extra time, time allocated for a penalty shootout or a golden goal. Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be taken into account. Some Soccer matches may have different playing schedules. In that case the following will apply:
- 90 minutes scheduled play (3 x 30 minutes). Full-time bets are still considered valid. Half- time bets are considered void.
- 80 minutes scheduled play (2 x 40 minutes). All bets are still considered valid.
All bets on a match abandoned before the completion of the regular time will be void unless the match is rearranged and played on the same date (local time) or stated otherwise in the rules, except for bets on any markets that have been unconditionally determined.
Postponed Matches
A postponement is deemed to be where a match does not commence on the same day it is scheduled. In the instance of a postponed match, all bets placed on that match will be void. A postponed match can occur for a variety of reasons including weather and pitch conditions, security, power failures and crowd trouble.
Win-Draw-Win, Match Result or 1X2 Bets
Bets can be placed by either selecting a Home Win, a Draw or an Away Win. If a game is abandoned, bets will be void. The Home team is normally the team playing on its home pitch, for the avoidance of doubt matches played at a neutral venue the team listed on the left is considered the Home Team.
Half Time Result
This bet is determined by the reslt of the match at half time.
Double Chance
Double chance bets you pick two outcomes and your bet loses if the other outcome happens. These bets are:
Home or Draw – 1X – if the Home team wins or the match ends in a draw
Away or Draw – 2X – if the Away team wins or the match ends in a draw
Home or Away – 12 – if either the Home team or the Away team wins the match.
Asian / Draw No Bet
In this bet you pick either the Home or Away team to win. If the match ends in a draw the bet is void meaning the stake is refunded or, if part of a multiple bet, the price is set at 1.
Over/Under
Over/Under bets are where you predict the total goals scored by both teams in match in normal playing time. If a game is abandoned, bets will be void unless settlement is already unconditionally determined.
Over/Under 0.5 Goals means that if no goals are scored in the match, the result is Under, if one or more goals are scored it is Over.
Over/Under 1.5 Goals means that if no, or one goals are scored it is Under, if 2 or more goals are scored it is Over.
Over/Under 2.5 Goals means that if 0, 1 or 2 goals are scored it is Under, if 3 or more goals are scored it is Over.
Over/Under 3.5 Goals means that if 0, 1, 2 or 3 goals are scored, it is Under, if 4 or more goals are scored it is over.
Over/Under Half Time
This bet is determined by the total number of goals scored at half time.
Half-Time/Full-Time
This bet has nine possible outcomes and you bet on the result at half time AND the result at full time. The possible outcomes are
Home-Home (home team winning at half time and full time)
Home-Draw (home team winning at half time but the match ends in a draw)
Home-Away (home team winning at half time but the away team wins at full time)
Draw-Home (draw at half time, home team wins at full time)
Draw-Draw (draw at half time, and a draw at full time)
Draw-Away (draw at half time, but away team wins at full time)
Away-Home (away team winning at half time, but the home team takes the match)
Away-Draw (away team winning at half time, but match ends in a draw)
Away-Away (away team winning at half time and at full time).
Handicaps
To determine the result of a handicap bet, either the home or away team is given “a head start” of 1 or more goals. The result of the match is determined by the final score plus the head start. A Handicap of (0:1) gives the away team a head start of one goal; a handicap of (2:0) gives the home team a head start of two goals.
Most Goals
This bet is determined by the number of goals scored in each half of the match. The outcomes are either more goals are scored in the first half, there is an equal number of goals in each half, or there are more goals scored in the second half. For example:
Scores 1-1, 2-2: first half goals 2, second half goals 2 = equal number of goals
Scores 0-1, 0-1: first half goals 1, second half, none = more in the first half
Scores 1-1, 2-3: first half goals 2, second half goals 3 = more in the second half
Correct Score
You predict the exact score at full time.
Goal/No Goal
Goal/No Goal predicts if both teams will score. Goal means both teams will score at least once, No goal predicts that one or both teams will not score.
Odd/Even
Odd/Even predicts if the total number of goals scored by both teams will be an odd or an even number. For the purposes of this bet, no goals is an even number.
Multi-Goal
This bet predicts if the total numebr of goals scored by both teams will be in the ranges 0-1, 2-3, 4-6 or 7 or more.
Score-No Score
Four way bet which predicts if the home or away teams will score. The possible outcomes are:
Score for the Home Team (1 or more goals),
No score for the home team (no goals),
Score for the away team (1 or more goals) or
No score for the away team (no goals for the away team).
